The Batesville Farmers Market has been in the community for over 20 years providing local farm fresh products. The produce has always been fresh and local, the merchandise is handmade, and the baked goods are from scratch. Come visit historical downtown Batesville and experience the market for yourself!

The Ludwig Family has a passion for farming and caring for their produce so their consumers can enjoy it. They live on a farm raising over 100 acres of great quality produce including strawberries, tomatoes, sweet corn, Indiana melons, cucumbers, peppers, squash, pumpkins, potatoes and more! They love animals, raising cows and pigs for a hobby. Their kids are active in their local Ripley County 4-H group. Christy works a full time job, farms, and a mother of four children. Lucas, Christy's husband, is full of knowledge on farming, teaching his family and friends what he loves to do! They love to teach others about healthy fresh produce, explaining to customers how to cook, can, or freeze their products. They also volunteer many hours at St. Nicholas Catholic School in Sunman, IN where their children attend school. When you come to market, the market master asks a favor from you - Be sure to Thank the Farmer/Crafter you are purchasing your product from. A simple Thank you goes a long way!
